Why Hennikon?

Care should feel personal, safe and properly led.

Families, referrers and staff need more than warm promises. They need a provider that listens carefully, plans clearly, understands risk, supports independence and keeps improving how care is delivered.

The Hennikon difference

A care organisation built around people and practical governance.

Hennikon combines the warmth expected from a care provider with the discipline needed for safe practice, staff accountability and evidence-led improvement.

Person-centred practice

Support starts with the person's routines, strengths, risks, preferences, culture, communication style and independence goals.

Clear care pathways

Families and professionals should understand what happens first, what information is needed and how suitability is considered.

Safeguarding awareness

Care should include clear escalation, safe reporting, confidentiality and a calm response when needs or risks change.

Training-led teams

Staff need induction, supervision, role clarity and ongoing learning so good practice is not left to chance.

Family and professional communication

Good care keeps the right people informed while respecting privacy, consent and decision-making arrangements.

Continuous improvement

Feedback, complaints, incidents, audits and reviews should be used to improve systems rather than hidden away.

Why people choose Hennikon

Comfortable settings, caring staff and accountable leadership.

Hennikon Care Services focuses on safe, respectful and person-centred support. Our approach brings together comfortable accommodation, caring staff, experienced management and strong partnership working so that people feel listened to, protected and supported to live with dignity.

Excellent accommodation

Hennikon homes are all situated in charming residential areas. We ensure that they are all close to bus stops, shopping centres, parks, and leisure centres. The homes are spacious and furnished with modern facilities. Each room has a TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed and linen and an arm chair. However residents are allowed to bring in their own if they choose.

Caring staff

Hennikon is a highly reputable care organisation that delivers flexible, responsive care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. We have a dedicated staff team that takes pride in their role and will assist you with any queries you may have. Our team actively listens to the people we support and respond to them accordingly.

Before everything, we put people and their individual needs first. Our team appreciates, seeks out and encourages the potential in every individual and motivates them to make use of their talent.

When choosing our staff we look for the best, by ensuring that they are professional and have some technical ability, as well as firm belief in our organisational values. This is established through training and professional development. Having our employees fully trained will give them the skills to deliver a professional and person centred service. We expect our staff to assist us in promoting our company aims, values and objectives.

Qualified and experienced managers

We have a high quality management team who provide strong professional leadership and support each member of staff to ensure that they deliver the best possible care. We believe in delivering a person-centred service that is filtered from management to carers and reinforced through training, supervision and appraisals.

Hennikon Care Services prides itself on monitoring our performance and constantly striving to achieve more through improvements in practices. We do this by ensuring that systems, policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and adhered to correctly.

Our risk management procedures are robust and we use our complaints and compliment system to monitor trends and look at ways that this can be improved or to further inform training needs and development within the staff teams.

Good working relationship with local authorities

We have an excellent working relationship with local authorities and the CCGs within the local area and work together to ensure that your needs are being met, addressed and that you are safeguarded at all times. We want you to remain at the heart of the service and will do our utmost to promote your independence, dignity and overall quality of life.

For families and referrers

Clear conversations before promises are made.

The right care decision needs honesty about needs, risks, suitability and timescale. Hennikon aims to provide practical guidance before any support route is agreed.

Before making commitments, the conversation should explore the person's current routine, what is working, what has become unsafe, who is involved, what outcomes matter and whether the proposed route is suitable.

How decisions are made

Support should be matched to real need.

Listen and gather information

Understand the person's story, strengths, risks, current support, communication needs and family or professional input.

Identify the right support route

Compare domiciliary care, supported living, respite, dementia-aware support or provider consultancy where relevant.

Plan safely and review

Agree responsibilities, escalation points, records, outcomes and review points so support can adapt as needs change.

Quality and accountability

Good care needs evidence, not assumptions.

Hennikon links everyday care with clear records, safeguarding, staff training, feedback, complaints handling and regular review.

This is especially important for care and support services where families, staff and professionals need clear expectations, accountable practice and honest communication.

Next step

Start with a clear conversation.

Whether you are a family member, referrer, applicant or provider, the right first step is to share enough detail for Hennikon to respond honestly and practically.
