People who need consistent support, reassurance, supervision, social contact or a safer daily routine than can currently be managed at home.
Residential accommodation
Hennikon supports people who need consistent care, reassurance and a safe place to live. Support may be privately funded or arranged through social care professionals, depending on the person's circumstances.
Residential-style support should be close to useful local facilities such as public transport, shops, parks and leisure opportunities wherever possible.
Hennikon believes care should be delivered with the same patience, respect and attention that staff would expect for their own family. The person's choices, preferences, wellbeing and happiness should remain central to every support plan.
Family members and friends are important partners in care. Moving from a family home into supported or residential accommodation can be a major decision, so communication should be clear, honest and compassionate.
The aim is to help each person feel safe, settled and able to maintain important relationships with family, friends and their wider community.
